I’m delighted to have the opportunity to give a talk at the Loma Prieta District, of General Federated Woman’s Club. Our region played an important role in the era of the Valley of Heart’s Delight agriculture, producing some of the region’s finest fruit. “For the Love of Apricots” shares heritage recipes and modern tastes in a cookbook that showcases the versatility of California’s beloved and world-renowned fruit.

I will be speaking about my experiences growing up in the Valley of Heart’s Delight and the process of writing my cookbook book on March 16, and will present a brief history of the Valley of Heart’s Delight, share orchard memories and featured apricot recipes from “For the Love of Apricots: Recipes and Memories of the Santa Clara Valley”.
