I’ve been invited to speak about growing up in the Valley of Heart’s Delight and the process of writing my Cookbook/Memoir at the Saratoga Rotary Club. I will present a brief history of the Valley of Heart’s Delight, share orchard memories, and feature apricot recipes from For the Love of Apricots: Recipes and Memories of the Santa Clara Valley.

Saratoga played an important role in the region’s agricultural history. For the Love of Apricots pays homage to this history. The cookbook combines heritage recipes and modern tastes that showcase the versatility of California’s beloved and world-renowned fruit.
