Los Altos History Museum Apricot Stem Fair and Book Signing, June 29

June 29 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$7

Please join me at the Los Altos History Museum to celebrate the taste, history, and “science” of apricots! It promises to be a fun, delicious, and interesting day. I will be signing my cookbook/memoir, “For the Love of Apricots: Recipes and Memories of the Santa Clara County” from 10 AM until 3:00 PM.
Apricot STEM Fair

The Los Altos History Museum will be highlighting the Blenheim apricot at the 2024 Apricot STEM Fair. Located in one of the few remaining apricot orchards in the area, the museum attracts families seeking to learn more about the agricultural roots of the “Valley of Heart’s Delight” and how it transitioned into today’s Silicon Valley.

In addition to the specialty tasting, the Apricot STEM Fair will also feature orchard-themed games, as well as Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) hands-on activities. It will be a fun day with a little bit of everything for the young at heart of all ages!

Admission to the Apricot STEM Fair is $7 per person, payable at the gate. Free for ages 12 and under. All proceeds from the STEM Fair support the Museum’s Permanent Exhibition Capital Campaign.
